Visas must commence with a mid-December start date to be considered for employment at our resort. In order to be eligible for a J-1 visa you must either be currently enrolled in full time study at a recognized tertiary level institute (having completed two consecutive semesters before going to the USA) or a recent graduate from at least 12 months (two consecutive semesters) of full time study. This type of visa must be secured via a third party sponsoring body. Mammoth Resorts currently works most closely with two organizations that assist applicants obtaining the J-1 visa: CCUSA and CIEE. These agencies will charge a fee for their service. Applicants should contact them if they wish to obtain a J-1 visa. Housing is available to seasonal, entry-level employees and space is limited (Mammoth Mountain and June Mountain only). Not all jobs come with a place in employee housing. Each hiring department has a predetermined number of housing spaces available for distribution. In order to access the housing application you will need to be given one of those bed spaces from your hiring department.
