School Bus Driver Job Interview

I'm 23, currently working as a nurse assistant. I'm waiting to enter a nursing program but could take me a year before I get in. I feel the pay would be low, lower than what I already make. It would be pretty hard to keep a job as a school bus driver while in school. Class times and clinical rotations are pretty non-negotiable, as are school hours. It seems like you'd be more likely to be able to keep working during school if you stick with the CNA job. Your trepidation of becoming a school bus driver is *very* understandable. There are so many liabilities (risk for lawsuits), especially with having such a huge responsibility of the students in your care. I wouldn't want a friend or loved one to drive any type of truck or large vehicle due to the potential liabilities, much less driving a school bus. No - school bus drivers ONLY work 2 hours a day, 35/40 weeks a year, you will only get paid for those hours.
